The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor The trailer has left many more questions than answers, especially when it comes to the character Cal Kestis finds in his tank of bacteria. Respawn and EA are finally revealed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor earlier this week after several years of waiting. The 2019 game was a huge hit both commercially and critically, in part because it was the first story-driven Star Wars game in nearly a decade, so it scratched a huge itch for fans. The game also introduced fans to an entirely new character, allowing them to experience the Star Wars world through a new lens and looks set to last.
The trailer doesn’t have any raw gameplay and seems to set the tone more than anything else, but it leaves fans with one big thrill to chew on. At the end of the trailer, Cal Kestis stares at an unknown person floating in a bacteria tank. Bacta tanks are typically used for people who have been seriously injured and the technology allows the user to recover. The tank was seen in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back After he saved Han on Hoth Lock, allowing him to recover from the bitter cold and injuries from the Wampa. Fans have been trying to figure out who the mysterious person in the bacteria tank is ever since the trailer was released. Some have suggested that he is a Starkiller, the protagonist Star Wars Liberal Force, the game is no longer canon. Others have suggested that he is a clone of Cal. It’s entirely possible that it was a completely new character, but given the nature of Star Wars, it wouldn’t be so shocking if it was someone we know. Whatever the case may be, they are likely the “survivor” referred to in the game’s title.
We only have some details about the story Star Wars Jedi: SurvivorOne of them is that the game takes place five years after the first match and a full decade after that Revenge of the Sith. This has led some to theorize it Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can intersect with Obi-Wan Kenobia show that takes place at the exact same time and centers around the Jedi who are displaced after the events of Order 66. Whether this mysterious germ tank character is related to the show remains to be seen, but fans definitely have a few theories.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Coming to Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5, and PC in 2023. The game will not come to last generation consoles.
